Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar urge to uphold Constitution’s values on Republic Day

On Sunday, India marked its 76th Republic Day, with many celebrities taking to social media to share their wishes and reflect on the importance of the Indian Constitution.

Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur, and others posted heartfelt messages. Big B shared a post saying, “Gantantrata diwas ki aapko shubhkamnae. (Many best wishes for Republic Day.”

Shah Rukh Khan posted a picture while saluting the Indian flag and urged people to honor the principles laid out by the Constituent Assembly. He wrote, “This Republic Day, let’s promise ourselves to contribute to an India that we can proudly pass on to the generations to come. Let’s uphold the values of the Constitution and hold our heads high with pride. Happy Republic Day and Jai Hind.”

While Akshay Kumar wrote, “स्वतंत्रता केवल हमारा अधिकार नहीं, हमारी ज़िम्मेदारी भी है। We’re free today because of the sacrifices of yesterday. Let’s honor this freedom through our actions and take India to greater heights. Happy Republic Day!”
