Is KFC better in Kentucky? TikTok star Liam Donafee visits Louisville to find out

One social media start recently made a visit to the commonwealth to answer a burning question: does Kentucky Fried Chicken taste better in Kentucky?
Liam Donafee, the Cleveland native and food reviewer known as @liamslunchbox to his 4.5 million followers, visited the Colonel Sanders Museum and KFC Headquarters on Gardiner Lane in Louisville in his latest post, saying he’s wondered his entire life if the chicken fast food chain is better in the land it was named for.
After taking a dramatic bite out of a drumstick in front of the museum, Donafee’s reaction might save some from a road trip to find out for themselves.
“That tastes exactly the same,” he said.

Prior to his visit to Kentucky, Donafee tested out Cincinnati-style chili at Skyline Chili in a video posted Tuesday, admitting he had never visited to try the city staple despite growing up in Ohio. After trying the coney and the three-way, the former seemed to impress him while the latter was mediocre.
Donafee’s both unique and questionable food reviews have made him a social media sensation in recent years and he’s even garnered attention from world-famous chef Gordon Ramsay more than once. In 2021, Ramsay roasted Donafee for cooking a Fruity Pebbles-coated steak in an air fryer.
