Israeli strikes on Gaza residential block kills at least 23, rescuers say

Israeli aircraft struck a residential block in war-ravaged northern Gaza on Wednesday, killing at least 23 people, rescue workers said, adding that most of the victims were women or children. The Israeli military said the strike targeted a senior Hamas militant.
