A nine-month-old baby has been rushed to hospital after being mauled by a dog.
The baby girl was attacked at a home on Ashley Street in Torrensville, in Adelaide’s western suburbs, on Tuesday.
She was rushed to the Women and Children’s Hospital for treatment, and her condition was not immediately known.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted SA Ambulance in relation to the incident.
It comes just days after a 47-year-old woman was attacked by her Saint Bernard-cross at her home in Leichhardt in Sydney’s inner west.
She suffered serious facial injuries and a deep gash on her arm.
Paramedics were seen tending to the blood-covered woman at the scene before she was loaded into the back of an ambulance.
More to come.
