Who is Scott Thomas as Love Island star returns for All Stars series?
Love Island: All Stars is heating up this cold snap, with a host of familiar faces returning to the villa for another shot at finding love.
One contestant fans might be shocked to see back on the show is Scott Thomas. The ex-islander appeared on the 2016 series of the ITV2 programme and managed to finish in third place with his then-partner.
Unfortunately, thing didn’t quite work out between the pair and Scott is once again turning to the dating show in the hopes of finding love (and, let’s be honest, spending a little more time in the spotlight).
Here is everything we know about his return and what Scott has been up to since his last stint on the show.
Which series of Love Island was Scott Thomas on?
Scott Thomas previously appeared in the second series of ITV’s Love Island reboot back in 2016.
The 36-year-old went in as a mostly unknown face but seemed familiar to a number of viewers, thanks to his famous actor brothers Adam and Ryan were actors.
His twin Adam is best known for playing Adam Barton in Emmerdale and Donte Charles in Waterloo Road. Their older sibling Ryan, now 40, is best known for playing Jason Grimshaw on Coronation Street. He is married to former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh.
Who was he coupled up with?
Scott did well in the show on his first attempt and even made it to the final.
He was paired with Zara Holland on day one but their romance did not last long.
He instead found love with Kady McDermott on the ITV show and the pair finished in third place, leaving the island as a couple and staying together on the outside world.
They moved in together and the relationship lasted a year before they went their separate ways.
What has he been up to since?
Scott worked as a club promoter upon leaving the show and later founded a Manchester-based PR agency, The Social PR, which has been a huge success.
The agency has worked with UK brands such as PrettyLittleThing, Edwardian Hotels and Footasylum, and specialises in social media management, celebrity endorsements and talent management.
As far as his love life goes, he has stayed relatively quiet. He and Kady had a public break up, unfollowing each other on social media with Kady posting a caption saying “new chapter”.
