A 33-year-old employee was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Since July 2023, officers have raided the same storefront location more than six times, seizing in excess of $200,000 worth of psilocybin-infused products.

In response to the downtown Windsor business that openly sells magic mushrooms, city police vowed in July 2023 to hold “criminally accountable” anyone in possession of or trafficking in outlawed substances.

Sales of products containing the hallucinogen psilocybin are illegal in Canada.
